Data Reduction With FIRO

When images of close double stars are first collected, it is necessary to “reduce” the data to make it manageable and extract useful information from it. For that purpose, FIRO uses two related software packages, both created by Dave Rowe, the Chief Technical Officer of PlaneWave Instruments Company.
